Plantae>Magnoliophyta>Magnoliopsida>Scrophulariales>Buddlejaceae>Buddleja lindleyana Fortune ex Lindley
| This shrub from China is commonly planted, but rarely escapes in North Carolina. It does persist after cultivation and spreads by underground rhizomes. The fragrant flowers are attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds, though not as fragrant nor as attractive as those of Buddleja davidii. Planted specimen, Carroll Co., VA 8/13/05. |
