| The appropriately named Fanleaf Hawthorn is fairly common in the Mountains and Piedmont of North Carolina, and is occasionally found in the Coastal Plain. Fanleaf Hawthorn is very similar to Bigfruit Hawthorn (C. macrosperma), if not the same species. Orange Co., NC 5/30/04. |
