Rasputin died on February 13, 1999, either from natural causes, or from an as yet unindentified plot against him.Funeral rites were conducted in accordance with his beliefs.

Rasputin's origins are shrouded in mystery, as is fitting for one of his ilk, nothing is known of his parentage, other than the obvious fact that they must have been truly evil. He started his career by making converts of all the animals in the rodent room of Pet Depot, and bringing them into the Guinea Pig Conspiracy. Once his work there was done, he found a willing dupe in David, to be his servant and see to his earthly needs, as well as assisting in advancing the cause wherever thumbs were required.

David and Rasputin traveled the country, spreading the message of evil and Guinea Pig superiority as far west as New Mexico. Satisfied with having spread the word, Rasputin spent his later months as the epitome of all that is evil, working as a manager. His staff expanded to include another two legged servant, Dawn, as well as more of the four-legged, Merlin, Harlequinn, and Corwin, who, while not guinea pigs, all do exemplary work.

He was preceded in death by his associate and co-conspirator, Ziggy. He presumably is survived by relatives, but owing to the intricacies of security required in an organization bent of the fall of all human governments, their true identities are unknown. With no known heirs, his position remains vacant while a worthy successor is sought out. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, college scholarship funds, the Libertarian Party, or the Bavarian Illuminati.

Rasputin's last thoughts were of his followers, and he wanted them to know that while he doesn't actually love, or even hold in high regard, the majority of the non-edible life on the planet, he tolerated most of it, and wished to leave a message of tolerance and respect of all life, since you never know when they may be useful to you. He also requested that his followers make sure that those who opposed him get what they deserve.
