About

I am a second-year graduate student in the Department of Political Science at Duke University , a fellow in the Political Institutions and Public Choice Program, and a James B. Duke Scholar.

My studies are primarily in American Politics and Methodology, and I am more specifically interested in Congress, political parties, issue evolution, and the novel application of statistical methods to political questions.

I graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2006 with Honors in Political Science and in the College of Arts & Sciences. I currently reside in Durham, NC with my beautiful wife Summar.
