Working Paper Series

We are pleased to announce the inauguration of the working paper series for the Program for the Study of Democracy, Institutions and Political Economy.  All members of the department are eligible to have papers included in the Series, and we strongly encourage you to submit your work to the Series.

 The following procedures apply.

    1.  Submit a paper copy of the paper for consideration to Aldrich, Keohane, or both.  We will evaluate the paper for inclusion,
based primarily on its fit with the aims of the Series and its suitability for circulation.  We view this as an opportunity
for the Department and Program to contribute intellectually and, as a result, advertise our collective strengths.

    2.  Upon receipt of our approval for inclusion in the Series, please submit a computerized version of the paper to Doris Cross.
        It should satisfy the following:

                a.  There should be two files.  One file is to consist of an abstract, which will be
included in the web-page listing.  The second file contain the entire paper,
                    including art work.
                        b. The paper can be submitted in Word, in WordPerfect, or in pdf format.

                        c. If you have any questions or problems, please contact Aldrich, Keohane, or Van Scoyoc.

    3.  Remember that the Series is on the Web and, therefore, may be accessed by anyone.  The following statement is included
at the top of our Working Paper Web page to emphasize that these are working papers and are not to be considered
published by their inclusion in the Series.

    4. These files are in pdf format on the Web page.  Use the Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them.
