I think I first started using a computer when I was in Kindergarten.
I've used Windows PC's, Macs, and Linux-based computers
I use computers for web browsing, e-mail, and web development on a daily basis
I took a few computer science classes in high school and that made me interested in pursuing it in college
On a daily basis, I think computer scientists attempt to solve real-world problems by designing specialized programs and or algorithms
My best programming experience was 2 summers ago during an internship. I was not hired to program yet I noticed that a 30-minute long daily task could be easily automated. I wrote a PHP script to automate the task and the people I was working for were extremely grateful - they still use it every day. I just liked the fact that I could help them out and save 30 minutes of their time every day.
I am currently working on 2 of my favorite programming projects. They are top secret. Will perhaps disclose by the end of the semester.
In the future, I see myself using computers to beat the stock market and make a lot of money.
