Hotel Fénix
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hotel Fénix , located at Avenida Corona 160 in the Centro Histórico, close to the Cathedral, Teatro Delgollado and other sights. The hotel has hosted Mexican movie stars and presidents and John F. Kennedy. In the lobby is the bar La Fuente, with live music every night.
To make a reservation, email ggrupos@fenixguadalajara.com.mx and tell them your reservation is for the Escobedo-Santucci group. Be sure to include your arrival and departure dates, and the number of people you need a room for. If you have children under 11, specify the number of adults and the number of children (children under 11 stay free). The rate is 650 pesos, taxes included, for a double room for two people. You must make your reservation by October 24.
Hotel Morales
David's family is staying at the Hotel Morales, located at Avenida Corona 243, just a block and a half from the Hotel Fénix. The hotel is famous for having been the "bullfigher hotel", playing host to famous matadors as well as movie stars. If you prefer to stay here, you can reserve online at www.hotelmorales.com.mx. The rate is 824 pesos, plus taxes.
Posada Regis
If you prefer slightly more spartan accomodations at a bargain price, you might consider staying at the Posada Regis, located at Avenida Corona 171. The rate is 430 pesos for a single room for two people.
Crowne Plaza
The wedding will be Held at the Crowne Plaza Guadalajara located at Avenida Lopez Mateos 2500 in Zapopan.

Puerta del Sol
If you prefer to stay closer to the site of the wedding, the Puerta del Sol is a small, family-style hotel with a courtyard, pool and restaurant, right across the street from the Crowne Plaza. You can reserve online, and rates are 585 pesos per night.
