The Long Room

This is the upstairs to the library of Trinity College in Dublin. Here live some of the world's most renowned books including one of Ireland's greatest treasures, The Book of Kells, on display downstairs. Here in the Long Room are roughly 200,00 of the library's oldest books, along with an antique Irish harp. The harp is the oldest on record and is the harp that appears on Irish coins, but it is NOT Brian Boru's harp as is often supposed.
