The Floozy in the Jacuzzi

Another statue in the middle of O'Connel Street celebrates
the Liffy River. Properly named the Anna Livia Monument, decorum
doesn't seem to stop Dubliners from attaching
sometimes-not-too-complimentary names to their favorite things
Although this statue, (dating only from 1988), was never in any
danger, several of the other works of art along the avenue bear
bullet holes from former violent times.
