Welcome to my teaching portfolio!
I have spent the past nine months in the Duke Master of Arts in Teaching program, working towards certification in secondary science teaching.
This program has involved:
- Courses/workshops on adolescent psychology and teaching methods
- Seven months of student teaching in two Durham high schools
- Riverside High School - standard biology & A.P. biology
- Jordan High School - A.P. environmental science & ESL earth science
- Science courses in the Duke Graduate School
This portfolio is a compilation of work, including lessons, reflections and philosophy statements, completed over the course of the program.
