Orangutan

Yi Cui and Elizabeth Lawner

We chose the orangutan because they are some of the smartest animals on Earth. They can be trained to use tools and communicate, and also use some of the
basic problem-solving techniques that humans do.

The orangutan is a type of primate that lives on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra. Orangutans are very intelligent and use leaves to protect themselves from the rain and to drink water from. The orangutan is an endangered species due to habitat loss. Orangutans are also diurnal omnivores.
