I come from Florida, although I generally enjoy imagining otherwise. Typography, wandering around, and thinking about food typically take up my spare time. I'm currently a Trinity sophomore.
I first used a computer way back when you had to start the thing in MS-DOS and type something in to get to windows. I've been a windows kid my entire life, but I made the mac switch upon coming to college because I think they're pretty. I mostly use computers for communication and browsing through various blogs, most of which involve either food or design. I'm interested in computer science because I've been told that it's helpful for pursuing a career in typography. Also, the only programming experience I've had was at nerd camp a couple of summers ago when I was supposed to learn C++ (but instead played minesweeper). So I want to challenge myself to learn something new (or, rather, something I was supposed to learn). A mild desire to understand some of the xkcd jokes probably figures somewhere in there, too.
Among other things, I read:

i love typography
and divert myself at orisinal and this crazy [japanese] site
Enough.
