| Resumen de la Conferencia (Abstract)
Design Issues for Multimedia How does one take the differences between media, for example, between and a novel and a film based on a novel, or a printed learned article and a conference talk, and apply that experience to effective presentation and communication on-line? How does the computer screen differ from a printed book? How does multimedia change all the "rules" for presentation? What are the relationships between text and speech? between graphics and animation? between sound and sight on-screen? How does one take these new distinctions and apply them to teaching and learning?
