Lamburgers

Ingredienti

[ 750 g | 1 1/2 lbs ] ground lamb
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin
pepper
cilantro
1 onion
1 tomato
4 hamburger buns
tzatziki

Ricetta


Prepare the grill.

Combine the ground lamb, salt, cumin, and ground pepper to taste, then shape into 4 patties. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side for well done.

Assemble the lamburgers with thinly sliced onion, tomato, some tzatziki (see recipe), and cilantro.

Notes: you can also prepare the lamburgers by broiling in the oven [ 10 cm | 4 in ] from the heating elements.
To prepare rare burgers first sear the cut of lamb on the outside, the coarsley grind.
Consider putting some minced onion in the ground lamb.
You could susbstitute a raita for the tzatziki--add chilis.
