Tamarind chutney

Ingredienti


[ 200 g | 6 oz ] tamarind pulp
[ 200 g | 6 oz ] jaggery (unrefined sugar)
2 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp salt

Ricetta


Cover the tamarind pulp and grated sugar with water and simmer until both are disolved. Continue cooking until the mixture becomes thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. Add spices and adjust for salt.

Serve cool.
