Computer science autobiography

I first started using a computer I don't remember exactly when but some time in mid 1990s, and the sole purpose was to play computer games. It was a 286 computer operating on MS-DOS.

I use a MacBook that I just recently purchased from Duke computer store. Originally, I wanted to get something from other huge computer stores and was definitely not thinking about getting a mac, but had no choice at the beginning of the school but to buy whatever was available and ended up with this MacBook, which since then I've been totally satisfied with. I use it mostly to program, check my email and do other school related work.

I decided to study computer science as dual major with ECE after taking cps100E. It was my first programming experience and had a pretty tough time as it seemed like a whole new world to me. Regardless, I was intrigued by the whole idea of programming and enjoyed it more than any other courses.

I think computer scientists spend most of their time coming up with an interesting idea, making it into a real project and programming/debugging/redigning.

I'm having my best programming experience thesedays in this class. Every assignment has been a great challenge for me and, everytime I spend hours sitting in front of a computer trying to fix my program I learn a lot. In the past courses I've taken, my favorite programming project was n-body in cps100E because it was just cool to make stuff move around and display it on GUI. I like designing GUIs.

I can see myself in the future programming and programming to develop softwares and implement inspiring cool ideas.
