Tuber Phylogeny
One of the most parsimonious trees based on analysis of 4 loci ( ITS, LSU, EF1?, & RBP2) which included 415 parsimonious informative characters. The analysis included 73 taxa. Species are labeled by their collection name, number, and geographic origin of sample, and include taxa from North America (Bold), Europe, Asia, and Australia. Genbank accession numbers are given for sequences used from the NCBI database. Thickened branches represent bootstrap support of 70 or more. Seven major Tuber clades are labeled.
