CHANNEL 8's Ah Jie has spoken. Zoe Tay will hold her church wedding ceremony
with Republic of Singapore pilot Philip Chionh on Sept 22 this year.
   The couple registered their marriage in September 1995.
   At a press conference held at the Ritz-Carlton yesterday, Tay was a picture
of excitement.
   It was only a month ago that Tay, 33, at the opening of her winebar Zee10,
promised to give a date for her wedding.
   "People have been curious about my wedding," she said. "After checking with
MediaCorp, and with the support of family and friends, I feel the time is
right to tell everyone."
   Mr Chang Long Jong, chief operating officer of MediaCorp Studios, revealed
that Tay "would only be involved in an info-entertainment series" from now
till November.
   Although the ceremony venue and the guest list have not been confirmed yet,
Tay said the wedding might have a "military-style march-in", either for the
church ceremony or the evening dinner.
   Tay would be planning the wedding on her own, with help from MediaCorp and
her friends.
   Smiling, she said to the press: "I hope the wedding will be warm, fun and
romantic - and I hope you guys will enjoy yourself."
