Below is an enlargement of part of a circa 1880's stereoview photograph (Purviance, Philadelphia) of Mt. Pisgah incline. In the middle of the photo is a cow, partially behind a tree. This was directly uphill from the Liberties and so could be one of the various farm animals kept by the Liberties families.
