1. Post-doctoral fellow:
Seeking motivated individuals with a strong background in cellular electrophysiology and/or molecular biology. Projects will include the elucidation of the mechanisms underlying synaptic transmission and plasticity in the basal ganglia. H1-B visas can be sponsored for international candidates.
2. Lab manager/ research associate:
Position involves collaborating with others in the lab on a variety of projects and providing lab management. Desirable but not required qualifications include experience in working with rodents, standard molecular biology techniques, microscopy, and histology. Position level and salary commensurate with experience. Minimum committment of 2 years.
3. Undergraduate research assistants:
Seeking motivated undergraduates with a background in biology/psychology. Students will learn to acquire skills in animal surgery, brain dissection, histology, electrophysiology, behavioral testing, and data analysis. Paid positions
are available for those capable of long-term
commitments.
4. Graduate students:
Graduate students will be accepted as part of the Systems and Integrative Neuroscience Program in the department of Psychology and Neuroscience. Those interested should contact Dr.Yin first before applying.
