Research Overview

My team works generally in the area of computational imaging systems, where the focus is to develop novel sensors, measurement architectures, and coding strategies to take efficient, multidimensional "pictures" of various scenes. I work very closely with Prof. Gehm (LENS lab) and Prof. Kapadia (RAILabs) to cover a broad range of projects addressing both fundamental and applied research. My current projects involve designing and building computational X-ray imaging systems for security and medical applications, applying machine learning techniques to X-ray scatter data, and using novel coding approaches to image through scattering media using visible light.
