Jenny's CompSci4 Web Page

Hello! My name is Jenny Kelemen but I'm known by my friends as Jenny from the Block, or JBlock for short. I'm a freshman from Ardsley, NY, a suburb of New York City. Being a true New Yorker, I am a diehard Yankees fan and consider picking fights with Red Sox fans a hobby of mine. I like to spend the rest of my time playing volleyball and singing along with the RENT soundtrack in my car. Anyone who's driven with me can attest to the fact that I have no musical/vocal ability but I enjoy singing regardless. Besides CompSci 4, I'm also taking AIDS and Emerging Diseases, Women and the Political Process, and French Existentialism. I envision myself being a political science or sociology major.

I've had some limited experience with programming. When I was younger, I was a seller on eBay and I learned to write some HTML code which I used to make my ad pages more appealing. I became somewhat skilled at operating computers by constantly screwing up my computer with viruses, spyware, adware, etc. and needing to fix it. When I was in middle school we had computer class where I remember learning how to use Excel but I can't remember much of it. After Duke I intend to go to law school and ideally become a sports/entertainment lawyer. I'll use a computer to draft and edit legal documents, to communicate with clients and associates, keep track of appointments and deadlines, and play music to keep myself entertained while I'm working.
