Computer Science Autobiography
I think I started using computers around age 5. My dad borrowed a Compaq from
work and taught me some DOS basics. I mostly used it to play games. My favorites
were Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure and Duke Nukem. Later on I started playing Doom
and Quake and I think thats when I really became interested in programming. I was
fascinated by those games so much that I wanted to make my own.
On a daily basis I use a computer to keep track of my life, to do some programming,
to play video games, and to save the world. My favorite operating system is one with
a Unix shell, but Windows is cool too. My best compsci experience was helping build a
First Person Shooter in CS124. My worst experience was making a MIPS compiler for
CS 104.
