Anyways,  I'm Joshua Solomon, and I'm done with Duke!!  I am originally from Royal Palm Beach, FL, and a graduate of Suncoast High School in Riviera Beach, FL.  I graduated with a BS in Biology, concentrating in genetics.

My main hobbies are chatting (you can reach me through AIM, though you'll have to e-mail me first after someone reminded me how she found my cell phone number), reading, listening to music, and occasionally being a Cameron Crazy (see above).  Additionally, I was a resident of the Arts Theme House.  At Duke, I was involved in the University Chorale, Duke Hillel, and Duke Friends of Israel.

Additionally, I have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome/High-Functioning Autism/Hyperlexia since I was 5.  The doctors told my parents that I would have been institutionalized by the age of 15.  Boy, were they wrong (some people say I should be in an institution still, though, for other reasons)!!  I overcame the odds to graduate high school with the IB Diploma and be accepted here.  I hope my story serves as an inspiration to parents of children with Asperger's Syndrome/High-Functioning Autism, in that they do not have to be doomed to failure most of the time, but can succeed should the right circumstances come about.

These days, I'm a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh, studying molecular genetics.  Currently, I am working in the lab of Dr. Baskaran Rajasekaran, focusing on DNA damage repair pathways.

BTW, look out for the new Diamond Joe Watch that I plan on running (isn't it time that incompetent nincompoop got fired?).
