CENSORSHIP

. . . . . . ABOUT ME . . . . . . . . . .

I am a Duke University Student on a mission: to educate interested individuals in the conflict over censorship in America today. Using the links to the left, please navigate the site and hopefully you will gain a better understanding of the controversy, including who's involved, how it affects Americans, and what we can do to alleviate the tensions between different factions of thought. Following the links to background and overview will give a basis for the debate over censorship. On the theory page, you can find speculation about ending this contentious debate. The resources page contains links to various other sites describing, and giving insight into the controversy. My critique of other sites, similar to Hatewatch, analyzes other websites pertaining to censorship. The Future link examines what could happen if the issue remains unsolved. The other thoughtful sites concern current issues discussed thoroughly by my peers. Finally, the commendable sites I chose, The Censorship Pages and a 9-11 Pentagon video, deal with censorship in unique fashions. (The surprise page is really interesting; I definitely suggest you check it out!
