For all of you googling me,
Welcome! You have found
John White's Webpage
|
I have discovered that it is a
common practice to google someone before you meet. Not having
planned for this when I made my first webpage as a sophomore in
college, this
has caused embarrasments. That first page was poorly
designed and referred to things long past.
So, after relearning how to interface with Duke's file system, I
finally removed that page.
You are probably not interested in any of
that, so I guess I should move on to giving you some information about
myself:
My name is John Kenneth White, Jr. I
grew up in Asheville, NC and went to T.C. Roberson High School.
Below are some pictures of my beautiful home town:
After high school, I attended Duke University,
where I recieved a B.A. in Political Science. While at Duke, I
studied abroad in Madrid. I also wrote a thesis entitled, "The
Effects of Media Framing on the Public's Opinion of
Homosexuality." I was very invovled with the Episcopal Center at
Duke. Pictures from Duke:
Currently, I live on the West Side of
Manhattan, near Columbus Circle. I recently graduated from
Columbia Law
School. I am a first year associate this year at Milbank, Tweed,
Hadley, & McCloy. I am supposed to be admitted to the bar in
March 2006. Here is a nice view of Columbia's campus:
Anyway, thanks for visiting and please feel
free to email me at jkw6@duke.edu.
