Tasks completed:
- Completed the processing of all files for high and low field
hydrogen runs
- Transfered all necessary files from the JLab disks to the
cache.
Tasks remaining:
- Finish running the data for high field deuterium runs
- Complete the necessary components to calculate the overall cross section

N: Total number of events -
obtained from the high field deuterium runs (with a cut of egam <
1.75 GeV)
Epsilon:
Efficiency for the high field deuterium runs - calculated from the
Monte Carlo simulation
Ngamma: Number of photons at the
target - calculated using the gflux files.
Problems and Bottlenecks:
- Transfering files from the disk to the cache
- Communication
Tranfering files:
Problem solved by writing scripts to search
out all files on disk that are not in the cache and then queuing these
jobs.
Communication:
It
remains almost impossible to get in touch with Dr. Tedeschi - I have
e-mailed him repeatedly about the Monte Carlo simulation code but to no
avail.
Wang also remains difficult to get in touch with.
