Quick Analysis of High and Low Field Hydrogen Data:

CROSS SECTION:

Cross section equation

Constants:
    Atomic Mass Weight (A) = 2.0140
    Density of Liquid Deuterium = 0.163 g / cm
    Length of target (L) = 24 cm
    Avagadro Number (NA) = 6.022 x 1023 mol -1

Calculated values:
    N: Total number of events - obtained from the high field deuterium runs (with a cut of egam < 1.75 GeV)
    Epsilon: Efficiency for the high field deuterium runs - calculated from the Monte Carlo simulation
    Ngamma: Number of photons at the target - calculated using the gflux files.




Problems and Bottlenecks:
Tranfering files:   
    Problem solved by writing scripts to search out all files on disk that are not in the cache and then queuing these jobs.
   

Communication:
   
It remains almost impossible to get in touch with Dr. Tedeschi - I have e-mailed him repeatedly about the Monte Carlo simulation code but to no avail.
    Wang also remains difficult to get in touch with.
