  About Me
I was born in Vestal, New York on August 14, 1986. I am the middle child in a family of five. My older brother, Chris, goes to N.C. State and will graduate in May 2007, and my younger brother, Eric, will be going to N.C. State and will graduate in May 2010. I lived in Vestal for almost 7 years until we moved to Cary, NC where I currently live.

I currently attend Duke University, and will be starting my 3rd year there in the Fall. I am majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and also in Computer Science. I have worked with Dr. Alex Hartemink for the last two years, and you can visit my Projects (soon to come) page to learn more about that.

I enjoy playing a variety of sports, some more than others. I have played recreation baseball, soccer, and basketball in the past, and I love playing golf and tennis in my free time. I actually played on my middle school basketball team and soccer team in the 8th grade. I also ran track for four years while at Enloe High School, and I mostly stuck to running the 800-meter (two laps) and 1600-meter (commonly known as the mile) runs, and dabbled in the 400-meter and 3200-meter runs. At my best, I ran the 800-meter in about 2:08, and the 1600-meter in about 5:20, although I would be hard-pressed to reproduce those times now.

I love watching sports of almost any kind. I am a big college basketball fan (going to Duke pretty much guarantees it), but I also enjoy watching some NBA if the right teams are playing (I love watching Steve Nash and LeBron James). I prefer the NFL, as I love the Buffalo Bills (my relatives/parents are from Buffalo), but don't keep up with college football as much. I don't watch baseball except for the occasional Durham Bulls game. I love watching (and playing) pool (go Jeanette Lee!). I watch a fair amount of soccer, and I've always got to cheer for Thierry Henry and the Arsenal. I've also gone on spurts where I've watched hockey, most notably when the Buffalo Sabres went to the Stanley Cup finals in 1999 (where they were cheated out of Game 6 with the famous "No Goal" in 3 OTs). I am always a Buffalo fan first, but I also cheer for Carolina when I can (the same applies to the NFL).

In the future, I hope to get a job with as a software engineer or something like that, and theoretically live in a nice house on a golf course.
