My family just recently got much larger as I got married in the begining of June. We had our ceremony at a small church in Swansea, MA. The reception was at the Regatta Club in Newport, RI. It was a gorgeous, sunny day and were joined by many friends and family. We have nearly a thousand photos from the wedding and the honeymoon. Digitial photgraphy is a beautiful thing.

We honeymooned in Aruba for nearly two weeks after the wedding and had a great time. We relaxed on the beach and hung out poolside just about every day. We both definitely needed that after the whirlwind wedding! As you can see from the picture, the ocean water was a gorgeous clear blue. The toughest decison of the day was whether to sit by the ocean or sit by the pool!

the lighter side

In the face of growing older and having significantly less time to do things, a few years ago I started to run...not quite like Forrest, but almost. I had run before, but never more than 5 miles on purpose. Prior to completing the Boston Marathon in 2003, I ran the Anchorage Marathon in June, 2001. What a race!! The course was more hilly than Boston (believe it or not!) and absolutely gorgeous scenary. The best part about the race was that I was able to raise nearly $5,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

In my nearly three minutes of free time every week, I like to pack in as much as I can. I try to get out and play ultimate frisbee with my team every week. Links on the left side will lead you to more information on this amazing sport. There you'll also find the home of the UPenn Void...Penn's men's ultimate frisbee team, the 1985 College National Champions. Though the page has changed alot since I graduated in 1998, I managed and developed the content and design during my time at Penn.
