My name is Lauren Cochran and this is my first attempt at using HTML. Do not be discouraged by the lack of snazzy-ness because this is the most basic of websites and there is lots more one can do...but because I started from the very beginning, this is what I came up with.

A little bit about me:
I was born in Washington D.C. on February 8th, 1985. Shortly thereafter, my parents moved to New York City where I have lived ever since. I went to The Chapin School from Kindergarten through my senior year. There, I was involved in sports more than anything else. I played on the field hockey, basketball and lacrosse teams, each for 5 years, and became President of the Athletic Association my senior year. I have also played piano from the time I was about 7 years old, although I stopped taking lessons once I came to college. I am now a senior at Duke, graduating in May, 2007. Next year I will be moving back to New York City to work at Citigroup in their Sales and Trading division.
