Introduction to Art History – Renaissance to Contemporary

This course is the second part of the art history survey offered at Duke University. The syllabus shown here is from an intensive summer session version of the course.  The sample assignment, an Image Book project, is one that throughout the semester and is designed to generate discussion in class and encourage students to apply ideas from the course to the larger visual environment.
