Please contact me (jspippen@duke.edu) if you are interested in enjoying some great birding around Durham and can help us with the Count. As always, beginners are welcome and will be paired with experienced leaders. There are currently a few excellent areas with no coverage, so let me know! Note that the National Audubon Society levies a $5 per person fee for participation, although people under 18 and "feeder watchers" are free.

Countdown Dinner Announcement: Like last year, we'll gather at 5:30pm at El Corral restaurant in Loehmann's Plaza on Hillandale Rd. for a countdown/compilation to share our bird findings & stories of the day. Loehmann's Plaza is located on Hillandale Rd., a quarter mile north of I-85. We have a room reserved to the left as soon as you walk into the restaurant. See you there!
