House Wren (Troglodytes aegon)

Breeding in most of the US north and west of the extreme southeast. House Wrens are common in the breeding season in the NC mountains and uncommon to fairly common elsewhere in the breeding season. They are very common in winter along the coast.

These photos were snapped with a Canon EOS 20D with a 100mm macro lens.
