Appalachian Brown (Lethe appalachia)

Generally local and uncommon this species is two brooded, flying from May to September in NC. It is found in damp, wooded habitats with lots of sedges in the mountains, piedmont, and sandhills.

Formerly classified as Satyrodes appalachia.
