Barred Yellow (Eurema daira)

A vary rare stray from farther south, there is only one record of Barred Yellow in North Carolina in the last 15 years or so, and about 8 records historically. Similar in size to Little Yellow (Eurema lisa), Barred Yellows lack the two basal underhindwing spots, and in flight they show black bars across the bottom of the upper forewing (lacking in Little Yellow).
