Long Dash (Polites mystic)

Very rare and local in the northern North Carolina mountains. Currently known from only one location in Alleghany Co. Will Cook and Ted Wilcox first discovered the population in June 2006. Long Dash are single brooded, flying from late May to June.

		Females are more contrasty below and darker above than males.
