Northern Pearly-eye (Lethe anthedon)

Found throughout the mountains and piedmont of NC, this species is uncommon to fairly common and flies from late Spring into Fall with probably 3 broods. Distinguished from other pearly-eyes by having a mostly black (orange-tipped) antennal clubs.

Formerly classified as Enodia anthedon.
