Phantom Darner (Triacanthagyna trifida)

Generally flies around dusk in forested habitats and is therefore difficult to see, this species is probably common to uncommon in the North Carolina coastal plain.

This individual flew before I could adjust the camera and get any additional shots. It was perched vertically, though that might be difficult to discern in this photo.
