Jin Wooi Tan is a Medical Physics Ph.D. student at Duke University since 2007. He recently joined the Duke Advanced Imaging Laboratories, and is in the stage of forming the dissertation title. He is working closely with Associate Professor Ehsan Samei (advisor) and the team members, notably Dr. Rob Saunders, Amarpreet Chawla, Xiang Li, and Benjamin Pollard.
Prior to Duke University, he worked as a research assistant at Department of Biomedical Imaging, Universiti Malaya. Under the tutelage of Professor Kwan-Hoong Ng and Professor Basri JJ Abdullah, he was involved in numerous research projects, as described here.
Jin Wooi Tan did his basic degree in health sciences at School of Health Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia from 2001-2004. He then continued with a masters degree in medical physics at Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya from 2004-2006.
