I don't know where this goes, but I LOVE DOGS.

In my sophomore year in college I represented Duke at the ACM programming contest World finals. At that time it so happened that I was the only girl from North America and hence we got a lot of news coverage. I had put the links below on the homepage then as I was proud of myself. Now I don't want to be a show off but still want to maintain these links so I have put them here.

This is a quote from the article in business week. I hope I can some day achieve what I stated as my life goal here.

" The foreign students have a palpable determination to succeed. Bhawalkar's role model is Srinivasa Ramanujan, an early 20th century Indian mathematician who became famous worldwide in spite of an inferior education. This year, as a Duke sophomore, Bhawalkar placed 70th among 2,500 top North American university students in the prestigious Putnam math competition. Her life goal is ``to make a mark in some discipline so people will say, 'That's Kshipra. She did this.' " - Business Week article April 2006
