Feedback: As you are looking through the student work included in the Unit Plan and Tracking Student Progress sections, you will notice my feedback to students. As a rule, I try to keep in mind the +/Æ model of feedback. That is, I try to include at least one positive note and one item that could be improved on each paper. Of course, the level of feedback depends on the type of assignment: while practice AP document-based questions might receive a short paragraph at the end of each paper, regular homework assignments might only include the grade and one or two notes.

Note: The samples of student work might occasionally have a comment that I included as I was putting together this portfolio--that will be indicated by an asterisk (*). All other feedback was there initially (although it may have been rewritten in darker ink, as are some of the studentÕs original work, as the copying made it difficult to read some portions).
