Education

B.S.  Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University,  Beijing, China, 2003~2007

Graduate Student, Department of Chemistry, Duke University, NC, USA, 2007~

Research Interests

When I was an undergraduate student, I worked on geometry optimization of Actinide complex in Prof. Jun Li's theoretical chemistry lab at Tsinghua University. Those days leave me a lot of good memories. Now I am 3rd year graduate student doing statistical mechanics simulation of soft matters in Prof. Patrick Charbonneau's group at Duke University. I currently use Monte Carlo simulation to study microphase separation starting from an Ising spin system frustrated by long-range Coulomb interaction. I think statistical mechanics is a very interesting field which is mathematically beautiful as well as intellectually challenging. Working with Prof. Charbonneau is a pretty happy experience which gives my graduate life a lot of fun.
