RASD is supported tremendously by volunteers working
for our organization.

work tirelessly on our efforts towards improving livelihoods of the
people of Nkokonjeru and other villages in the Mukono district.

- Mayor Gita has been a long time sponsor of RASD
through use of his vehicle for RASD work and support for RASD activities since our
beginning.
- Duke University
- Members of Duke University's chapter of
Engineers Without Borders met with RASD leaders
during May of 2006 while working on a project in a
different region of Uganda.
- Returning in August 2007, Duke University
students from Duke EWB and from the Duke University
Smart Home will be working with a Ugandan company
in Kampala to install two solar powered computers
and an internet connection in the RASD Resource
Center, and providing funding to continue
construction and furnishing of the center.
- University of California at Davis
- UC-Davis Engineers Without Borders chapter is working
with RASD in promoting water filtration and sanitation among
several villages in the Mukono district.
