| Whats Happening in 2009 Unfortunately 2009 didnt start off as well as we would like. On January 15, Aunt Marie, who many of you got to know as she was often maning the concession area, passed away. It has been a tough year for her remaining sisters (Aunt Maggie, Grandma Daisy) and us. Marie brought the love of life and family to everyone and was a constant source of entertainment to Khoury. Also this past July our beloved dog BJ left us to join her brother Buster. BJ has been with us since we moved here in 1994 and has been greeting folks during Christmas every year since. We will miss walking around her trying to get in the Christmas Shop since she was always laying in front of the door. ![]() HAYRIDES on the weekends and lots of jumping fun in our INFLATABLE JUMP HOUSE (weather permitting) Aunt Maggie will be baking some of her famous cookies and other items along with drinks including, soda, water, hot cider and coffee for those busy weekendsFresh Cut Fraser Firs will be especially pretty this year thanks to a GREAT growing season. We have limited Choose and Cut trees this year, including Virginia Pines, Eastern Red Cedar, Leyland Cypress and Carolina Sapphire Pre-cut Concolor Fir. We brought in a limited number of these last year and they sold FAST... The Concolor Fir has a tangerine fragrance, good color with excellent needle retention We will have plenty of Wreaths, Garland and a bunch of Table Top Fraser Firs. Many of you bought one of these as a second tree for the kids! Of course Diana’s Christmas Shop will be loaded with new & unique ornaments and gifts. |
Being
