The Hunter

Things that move and things that do not.

Things that do not are not your target.

Find the life that lives among
that which does not.

The raven on the rock.
The catfish in its pool.

You must think like the rock to snare your bird.
Disperse like the pool to hook your fish.

The cool wind cradles you as one of its own.
And you will curdle in its world if you stir.

When you finger the earth, rake it like a son.
You are the father of its yield.

Would you take more than you could give?
No.

So do your violent share quickly and strongly.
It is the way of things that move.
