I was born on December 25, 1982 in Harrisonburg, VA and grew up in Richmond. I attended Mills Godwin High School and graduated in 2001. From there I went to Duke University where I was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and received my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in May 2005. I am currently still at Duke, working towards my Master's in Mechanical Engineering.
