Democrats Look Desperate in Swing States

The Democratic Party is starting to look desperate as they seek to snatch up as many votes as they can in several swing states. Seeking to remove Gore spoiler Ralph Nader from the Florida ballot, the Democrats challenged his validity as a candidate because of the size of the Reform Party's convention. The Florida Supreme Court ruled that Nader would be put on the ballot. Nader seems less likely to be a spoiler for Kerry as he is more noted for his environmental views, and does not have a strong voice in the defense and economic issues that are dominating this election. Still, the Democrats seem to be eager to get him off the ballot in as many swing states as possible by any means necessary.
