Here is an article about the news media becoming more partisan to attract audiences. Its interesting in that it comes from an insider so it seems that the issue is obvious to those involved as well as the general public. The main thing that seems to be contradictory in this article is that he says that the ratings show that people gravitate towards news with the their biases, but goes on to say that people polled have said they want unbiased reporting. In my opinion, actions speak louder than words and the fact that people are supporting news programs that lean one way or the other shows that people really don't prefer unbiased news.
