Stewart Blasts Crossfire Hosts

Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show, blasted CNN's Crossfire hosts Paul Begala and Tucker Carlson, saying they were not fulfilling their responsibility to the American public. He makes a valid argument, saying they do not have true debate but rather political spin from both sides, and appears to be the most professional of the three as he tries to present valid reasoning for his attack while Carlson and Begala attempt to change the subject to more trivial matters. Carlson does make a decent point when he says that Stewart has no credibility to attack them when Stewart himself failed to challenge John Kerry when Kerry appeared on The Daily Show. Stewart does make a valid point in saying that as a comedy show, it is not his responsibility as it is of a news organization, however, in my opinion he does not completely justify not asking challenging questions to Kerry when given the opportunity. Overall, though, Stewart appears to be the most reasonable and professional person on the set.
