Here, clicking on one link takes the reader to a screen divided into three frames. The story seemingly splits apart when the three friends part, but, as you'll see, also remains a web of interrelated events. The reader could follow the adventures of any of the three friends (well, except Jim) within the individual frames. Subsequent links may continue the three-frame structure, merge the story back into one frame, or introduce other structures.
I should point out that (mercifully) I do not plan to write the story containing these frames and that you should use your browser's "Back" function to get out of this node.
